Bill Cosby Sweater

When all the kids on the block were wearing JNCO Jeans and the girls Baby Tee’s with sassy expression like “whatever” I was wondering where did Bill Cosby get that sweater and where can I get one?!?! And until today awhile doing some research for this random blog post did I learn those crazy sweaters are not Missoni but some crazy Dutch designer named Koos Van Den Akker!

The point to this blog post or the point was going to be Missoni flame stitch is neutral and can be used anywhere in any space. I just love it!!!

LIFE'S A BEACH

Two good friends of mine recently bought a home in the Hampton's they asked for some direction so I put together my idea of a simple chic beach house. My concept is based on some very simple words sand, raw, earth and light.

Miles and Miles and Miles Away

Photo is by famed fashion photographer Miles Aldridge space is an unfinished little girls room I have designed when finished will be amazing!!! The kittens in the photos are wearing leather bondage. The wallpaper is Anna French the head board and trundle I designed and the head board is tufted Swarovski crystals. The drapes go up next week and are gorgeous Osborne & Little silk (photo to come)!!!!!

WEEKENDZ PART UNO

Basically my life on the weekend is brunch with Rachel and then we shop drink shop drink try on sparkly clothes talk about days gone by and make fun of people. Its really fun but it really is a club of 2. sorry :-(

It may not be Brooklyn but St.Marks in Manhattan is like Williamsburg's older creepy uncle. In need of nothing but in search of everything Rachel and I found ourselves in 2 of the east village's staple stores Search and Destroy and Trash and Vaudeville.

BOOK LEARN'N

My little girl is going back to school!!! Tomorrow Rachel starts her costume jewelry class at FIT and after she suggested buying her supplies at a dollar store I ran to MUJI www.muji.us and outfitted her with super chic supplies. Good design is in the details and that includes the instruments you use to get started in the developmental stages.

I also took it one step further and with a sewing kit I stole from a hotel I customized the little MUJI cotton carryall. (god i have way too much time on my hands)

Twister Twister

When the tornado hit Brooklyn last weekend Coco and I were home alone and scared with no power. There was only one thing to do! create a custom postcard painting with the three things in my refrigerator. My artistic side comes out during natural disasters you should see my needle point from hurricane Katrina and plaster bust from the Santa Barbara brush fires.

I may not be a Trump but my love of all things gold runs deep. I was recently asked to put together a grouping of images that inspire me and that would contribute to a cool beautiful high-end space and these are the images. The amazing reverse glass painted cabinet is $28,000.00 it has unicorns and goats love it!
